We searched for a winemaker that would meet our high qualifications for over two years-.he had to know about port wines. This search led us to Jim Olsen.
We are extremely fortunate to have found Jim! His accomplishments go beyond our wildest dreams!
Our winemaker has extensive credentials and experience in the art of winemaking, winning “Best of Show” with a port wine in 1977 at the first international competition ever held in the USA!
Jim Olsen has been making exquisite specialty wines for over 20 years. He also taught “Wines of California and Europe”, a consumer oriented wine appreciation class at UC Berkley for over 30 years, drawing over 300 students per year.
